Amidst this turmoil, thousands of sick and injured children and orphans find themselves dependent on life-saving treatments, medicines, or palliative care packages. Urgent and ongoing assistance is required to alleviate their suffering. Collaborating with Ukrainian partners such as Tabletochki, Future UKR, and Tvoya-Opora, Keep a Child Alive is working tirelessly to facilitate the transportation of these vulnerable children and their families to the border of Poland.
In Poland, they can find access to vital health resources, as well as the provision of food and refuge they so desperately need. To make this possible, KCA is organizing escorted transport that includes accompanying doctors and emergency medication. Additionally, efforts are being made to procure and distribute food and other basic necessities along the journey.
